Cogent Data Center – Hawaii
96-1402 Waihona Pl, Pearl City, HI, 96782, US
Cogent holds a position at 96-1402 Waihona Place in Pearl City on Oahu, and Hawaii is the one American market where network geography is not negotiable. Every bit of traffic between the islands and the mainland crosses submarine cable, so a position on the island removes an eleven-thousand-kilometre round trip for anything served locally — which for a Hawaii business is the difference between a usable application and an unusable one. Oahu is also the trans-Pacific cable junction between North America, Australia and East Asia.
