EdgeConneX Denver – EDCDEN02
8451 Highfield Pkwy, Englewood, CO, 80112, US
DEN02 is EdgeConneX's second Denver building, a 115,500 sq ft structure built in six months beside DEN01 on Highfield Parkway in Englewood and announced in late June 2018 as a seven-fold expansion of the company's Denver capacity. Five planned data halls of 10,500 sq ft each sit under up to 24 MW in an N+1 configuration, a ceiling that stood at 21 MW when the building was announced. This is the building EdgeConneX describes as fully under its own control, in contrast to the two-hall DEN01 next door. Cabinets draw more than 20 kW and the 2018 design allowed up to 30 kW per rack, with N+1 CRACs in separate suites feeding a 30-inch underfloor plenum. Megaport's SDN platform was deployed with the expansion. SOC 2 Type 2, PCI DSS and HIPAA cover both Denver buildings. Buyers take a cage, a hall or a multi-megawatt block here.
