Equinix NY5 is the two-storey tilt-up concrete data center at 800 Secaucus Road, Secaucus, built in 2012 and expanded in 2016, and the New York metro's hyperscaler on-ramp building: AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute for both commercial and US Government customers, and Google Cloud Dedicated Interconnect each name NY5 as their New York location. Its 129,436 sq ft of colocation houses matching engines for major stock exchanges, with 20 MW of critical power fed by four utility feeders and eight 2.5 MW generators as of 2023. UPS and generators are N+1 with 30 hours or more of fuel at full load, cooling is N+2 with free cooling and fuel cells, cabinets start at 5 kVA, and LEED is among the building's certifications. The Secaucus campus stayed online for a week without grid power after Superstorm Sandy in 2012. Buyers take cabinets, private cages or Flex Space, order High-Density Cooling, and cross-connect to NY2, NY3, NY4 and NY6 on campus.
