Cologix COL5

COL5 is Cologix's newest Columbus-area building, under construction at 6787 Green Meadows Drive in Orange Township north of the city, with first service targeted for the second half of 2026. The first phase is roughly 60,000 square feet in a single data hall against 25 MW of utility power fed by a redundant loop from an AEP substation, with a second phase adding a further 95 MW. It is designed across an unusually wide density band, five to a hundred kilowatts per cabinet, with both air and liquid cooling — what a building needs to take conventional colocation and GPU training capacity under one roof. Construction uses low-carbon concrete, and the mechanical plant runs a closed loop that minimizes water draw. Three diverse fiber entrances, each with its own minimum point of entry fed from a separate zero manhole, reach the Scherers Court campus, Ohio IX and on-ramps to AWS Direct Connect and Google Cloud Platform.
