About GLV-IX

GLV-IX is run by LVRTC, Latvia's state-owned broadcasting and telecom infrastructure company, on what it calls a neutral, not-for-profit basis, from six of its own sites: the Riga TV tower on Zakusala, the State Revenue Service building on Talejas iela, and the TV towers at Valmiera, Daugavpils, Ventspils and Liepaja. 34 organisations are listed. Connection fees and monthly charges are free at every speed from 1G to 100G, with 100G at the Riga sites only. Membership is restricted to entities registered in Latvia, and an application is filed through the National Cyber Security Centre.
