About Namex Rome

Namex grew out of the University of Rome in the mid-1990s and is owned by its members. It runs five Rome sites named after Roman emperors, one of which, Caesar, is the association's own data centre. Public peering starts at EUR 90 a month for 1 Gbps and reaches EUR 460 at 10 Gbps. Its two route servers deliberately run different software implementations, so one session reaches the rest of the membership.
