About NEO-IX

NEO-IX is a non-profit serving north-east Ohio from three sites: the FairlawnGig service centre run by a municipal fibre network, the AES Building in Akron, and H5 Data Centers in Cleveland. There is no cost to join — a participant pays only for its own colocation and the connection into the switch. 10 members peer. Route servers run BIRD on AS62595, refresh RPKI data hourly and honour the never-via-route-servers flag, with guidance capping prefixes at 150,000 IPv4 and 50,000 IPv6.
