Ardent Pittsburgh occupies a retrofitted facility at 615 McMichael Road, McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania, operated by Ardent Data Centers, the colocation arm of Northern Data Group. Ardent acquired the roughly 41,000-square-foot building (on a 7.5-acre site, originally built around 1980) from Five 9s Digital in January 2024 and formally opened it in 2025 after upgrades. Power is being expanded from about 5 MW toward 20 MW, and the site adds liquid cooling with a target PUE at or below 1.2 to support high-density AI and HPC deployments. Ardent markets retail colocation footprints here, including suites, cages, private and partial cabinets, individual servers, and bare metal, with sub-10-millisecond latency to major U.S. East Coast hubs.
