Cogent Data Center – Boston
300 5th Ave, Waltham, MA, 02451, US
Colocation space
8,400
sq ft
Cogent's Boston-market facility is 8,400 square feet at 300 Fifth Avenue in Waltham, on the Route 128 technology belt rather than in the city itself. That belt is where a large share of Massachusetts biotechnology, medical device and software companies actually sit, and Waltham puts the equipment among them instead of an hour away in a downtown carrier hotel. Private cages and utility computing are available on site, wave services run on the backbone, and the inland position sits clear of the coastal exposure that shapes continuity planning on the Massachusetts shoreline.
