eASPNet Neihu Data Center
No. 248, Yang-Guang Street, Nei-Hu, Taipei, 114, Taiwan, Taipei, 114, TW
eASPNet has run internet data centres in the Neihu district of Taipei since its incorporation in December 2000, at Ruiguang Road and Ankang Street. Taipower feeds the site at high voltage from two separate substations, Xihu and Minquan, each able to back the other. Behind them sit four dedicated emergency diesel generators totalling 6,000 kW in an N+1 arrangement, with 12,500 US gallons of fuel in B1 and B3 tanks for 37 hours of running and a four-hour replenishment contract with CNPC. The UPS is a 2N dual loop with thirty minutes of autonomy, and computer-room air conditioning is N+1 at 24 degrees Celsius plus or minus two, at 40 to 60 per cent humidity. Cabinets are 58U, 600 mm wide by 1,000 mm deep, on a 50 cm raised floor rated above 500 kg/m2. The building is steel-reinforced concrete built to level-7 earthquake resistance and to Taipei City's 200-year flood specification.
