Two megawatts across two data halls, in 810 sqm built in 2006 at 3 Brandl Street: Eight Mile Plains is the smallest of the five Australian sites changing hands, and the only Queensland one. Next Capital agreed in July 2026 to buy Fujitsu's Australian data centre business and to run the five sites - Homebush and Greystanes in New South Wales, Eight Mile Plains, Noble Park in Victoria and Malaga in Western Australia - as an independent, Australian-managed national platform, with Fujitsu operating the Brisbane building until completion. The building itself is leased rather than owned. Seven networks are present and MegaIX Brisbane is the only exchange on site. Across the five sites the portfolio carries 25 MW of capacity with about 7 MW taken by roughly 130 customers, and reported headroom to 100 MW. Fujitsu's Uptime Institute design awards cover Noble Park, Western Sydney and Malaga, and none extends to Brisbane.
