Mega DC's first Israeli site, at 17 Hamaayan Street in the Modi'in industrial area, is the single operational entry in a published portfolio of eight. It offers 15,000 m2 and 20 MW of total power, with a substation on the plot and support for up to 1 MW in a single rack - a specification aimed at liquid-cooled AI deployments rather than general enterprise racks. Another 10 MW is under construction, with readiness given for 2026. The rest of the programme runs to 40 MW at Masmia, 20 MW at MATAM in Haifa, a 240 MW campus at Beit Shemesh and 180 MW at Idan Hanegev, plus undated sites at Masmia and Hadera. Mega DC states a T3 design for Modi'in, which is the company's own engineering description and not a certification held at the Uptime Institute. Interconnection runs on the customer's own carrier contracts.

Frequently asked questions

What power is available at 17 Hamaayan Street?
20 MW in total on the operator's own figures, with a further 10 MW under construction for readiness during 2026.
Which Mega DC sites are actually running?
Only MDCIL-1 at Modi'in. The other seven in the published portfolio - Masmia, Haifa, Beit Shemesh, Idan Hanegev and Hadera - sit at earlier stages, running from 2026 to 2028.
What rack density does the Modi'in hall support?
Up to 1 MW in a single rack, with liquid cooling supported, which is why the site is pitched at AI workloads rather than mixed enterprise racks.
How does the Mega DC building differ from SDS1 in the same town?
Different company and different street. SDS1 belongs to SDS Data Service Ltd at Zela Hahar 35; MDCIL-1 is Mega DC's own building on Hamaayan Street.
What does Mega DC's T3 reference describe?
The design standard the operator states for the building. There is no Uptime Institute certification attached to it.
