The Columbia Data Center was designed as six buildings, CO1 through CO6, and Washington's Department of Ecology has tracked them under those names since 2010 - CO5 was permitted alongside CO4 in an expansion heard that October, and by the December 2019 review for CO6 it was listed among the five already standing at 501 Port Industrial Parkway in Quincy. Grant County PUD supplies it, though not on its own meter: the Large Power Facilities Agreement signed on 7 August 2023 covers CO5 together with the neighbouring MWH3 and MWH4 buildings, and was adjusted downward by 4,807,473 dollars with effect from 31 December 2024. Cooling water goes to the Quincy Water Reuse Utility, built jointly by Microsoft and the city and the first industrial reuse plant in Washington, credited with saving about 380 million gallons of potable water a year. Every operator in Quincy drew roughly 180 million gallons between them in 2023.
