Malta's government ICT systems run from a purpose-built hall on Old Railway Track in Santa Venera, opened on 7 December 2011 at a cost of EUR 7 million and operated by the Malta Information Technology Agency on its own hardware. It carries eGovernment, eHealth, eID and eLearning platforms for more than 28,000 users, about a million emails a day and 450 TB of storage. The build laid 7,000 m of copper and 8,000 m of fibre cabling. The agency has issued no square-metre or megawatt figure for it in the years since.
