Patmos Kansas City
1325 Tracy Ave, Kansas City, MO, 64106, US
Patmos Kansas City, formerly Joe's Datacenter, is an independent retail colocation facility at 1325 Tracy Avenue in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. Joe's Datacenter occupied the building in October 2013 after outgrowing its prior Oak Tower space, and the operation was later rebranded under Patmos Hosting. The building holds two data halls, one for the operator's managed dedicated servers and a second open to colocation customers, both built with hot- and cold-aisle arrangements for cooling. Reported capacity is roughly 4 MW at about 150 watts per square foot, drawn from diverse serving substations and utility Evergy, with split A/C systems and redundant power grids. The carrier-neutral site hosts the Kansas City Internet Exchange (KCIX), which peers nearly 200 networks, plus cross-connect access to multiple carriers. Security includes biometric access controls and CCTV; on-site amenities include workbenches, a customer computer station, and free Wi-Fi.
