Prime Saeby AAL01-02
Energivej 1, Saeby, 9300, DK
Prime Data Centers announced a 124 MW campus on Energivej in Saeby, in Frederikshavn Kommune in North Jutland, on 2 February 2023: three hyperscale buildings, fully renewable supply and biofuel standby generators. Two elements of the design stood out. Waste heat would go to Saeby Varmevaerk under a district-heating arrangement that returns chilled water to the campus, and in-rack cooling developed with New Nordic Data Cooling ApS was specified for loads up to 50 kW a rack. The campus was designed for DGNB Gold, a building-sustainability rating rather than a data-centre availability standard. Prime has published nothing further about the Danish site since the announcement, and its current portfolio of thirteen campuses across North America and EMEA lists no location in Denmark.
