A cable landing station and a 20 MW interconnection campus are planned together on the northern coast of Crete, in the Chania area, with landing infrastructure coordinated by Quadrivium Digital and backhaul across the island and on to mainland Greece provided by GRID Telecom, a subsidiary of the Greek transmission operator IPTO. The marine works set out in the launch announcement include a buried borepipe to the sea carrying eight ducts, with several beach manholes. Quadrivium positions the campus as the European Union's easternmost peering point for systems running to Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Arrow Global joined as financing partner in September 2024. The launch was made on 2 May 2024 and no construction milestone has followed it; the Tier III+ wording in that release describes an intended design.
