Ümitköy lies on the western side of Ankara, in the Yenimahalle district, and the hall Türk Telekom keeps there is one of 3 Türk Telekom data centres in the country - the other two being Esenyurt and Gayrettepe in İstanbul. Server hosting, sold as Sunucu Barındırma, comes from all three alongside cloud and virtual data centre services. One quantitative figure covers the estate: 12,700 m2 of white space in total, with no per-building breakdown. The Ümitköy building was fitted out by the Turkish contractor ELEKTRO-TEK, whose scope ran to precision cooling and ventilation, cabinet and water-leak detection and DDC panels, all supervised over BACnet/IP. Ankara's recorded interconnection sits in other buildings altogether - Ixpanse AN1, Kernzen DC ANK-01, Mars Datacenter Ankara-1, Teknotel Ankara and Vaultr Ankara among them. Türk Telekom describes the reliability of its centres as documented by international certifications, without naming a scheme, a level or an issuing body.
