Vantage CA1 – Building 2
2565 Walsh Ave, Santa Clara, CA, 95051, US
CA12 is the second building on Vantage's Santa Clara I campus, announced in April 2011 for completion late that year, raised from the ground in eight months and, by October 2012, leased in its entirety to a single tenant on a 9 MW lease. Its modules were designed to scale from 9 MW to 18 MW in the same footprint, with fresh-air cooling for 65 to 80 percent of the year and 400/230 V distribution to the rack, and in 2012 it ran at a PUE of 1.12. Vantage has published no current capacity or floor-area figure for CA12, unlike the other five buildings on the campus, and its LEED certification was still at application stage in 2012. On a campus of 77 MW, this building is a single-tenant lease, so space here depends on that tenant's term rather than on a published inventory, and a buyer wanting a hall today is looking at the five rated buildings around it.
