CA16 is the two-floor, 9 MW building on Vantage's Santa Clara I campus, delivered on 19 October 2017 less than twelve months after its October 2016 groundbreaking, a completion that took the campus to 60 MW of critical IT load at the time. It is built to 2N electrical redundancy. Its floor area stands at 69,000 sq ft in the current campus specification and at 32,000 sq ft in the 2016 construction announcement, two figures that have never been reconciled. CA16 and the 17 MW CA15 together carried the campus from 51 MW to the 77 MW its six buildings hold today, with the campus's third 50 MW substation commissioned alongside them. With 9 MW over two floors, CA16 sells as halls or a single floor to a buyer who wants 2N power without taking a four-storey building.
