CA22 is the 24 MW second building on Vantage's Santa Clara II campus at 737 Mathew Street, one of three four-storey buildings on the 9-acre site. On 1 October 2021 Vantage sold the building to Vantage SDC, its DigitalBridge-backed stabilized-asset vehicle, for $539 million, a transaction reserved for buildings that are fully constructed with stable tenancy and one that lifted that portfolio to 177 MW across 13 facilities. Vantage Data Centers continues to operate it under that ownership. The building draws on the campus's three on-site 50 MW transformers at 415/240 V with N+1 electrical and mechanical redundancy and closed-loop chilled water with water-side economizers. No floor-area figure exists for CA22 as a single building, against 175,000 sq ft for CA21 next door. With 24 MW stabilized, inventory here opens as tenant terms expire rather than as new halls, so a buyer wanting a hall on this campus looks to CA22 for lease turnover, not new build.
