Vantage CA2 – Building 3

CA23 is the third building on Vantage's Santa Clara II campus at 737 Mathew Street, rated at 32 MW of critical IT load across more than 200,000 sq ft, the largest of the campus's three buildings as of its September 2020 construction announcement. Construction was under way by 17 September 2020 with completion slated for the second half of 2021, and the building completes the three-building plan Vantage set out for the 9-acre site in 2018. Its 32 MW draws on the same three on-site 50 MW transformers at 415/240 V, N+1 across electrical and mechanical systems, with closed-loop chilled water, water-side economizers and chilled water to the rack for 35 kW cabinets. Of the three buildings, CA23 was the one not held by Vantage SDC as of October 2021, when CA22 was sold into that vehicle. Halls and floors in this four-storey building are the campus's newest inventory for a buyer wanting a block above 10 MW.
