EdgeConneX Richmond – EDCRIC01
1450 E Parham Rd, Richmond, VA, 23228, US
EdgeConneX RIC01 at 1450 East Parham Road, inside ten miles of downtown Richmond, is a 16,279 sq ft facility holding 6,797 sq ft of raised floor, the largest tenant floor among the operator's three Virginia and Pennsylvania edge sites. SummitIG brought dark fiber into the newly launched building in April 2015 over an underground I-95 route to Ashburn, Reston and Vienna that bypasses Washington, and DE-CIX Richmond went live with direct access from this floor in December 2021 after absorbing the RVA-IX members. Three networks and one exchange terminate in its diverse meet-me rooms today, with Comcast, Uniti, Verizon, Zayo and Ninja-IX also on the carrier list. Cabinets are engineered for 20 kW over a 30-inch underfloor plenum with N+1 CRACs and concurrently maintainable N+1 UPS and generators. SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001 and PCI DSS audits cover the site, and cabinets and small cages are the inventory here.
