Equinix DA11 is a four-storey building at 1990 North Stemmons Freeway, the Dallas Infomart campus's second building and, at the February 2019 groundbreaking, its first new construction in more than 30 years. Phase 1 opened on 24 June 2020 at $142 million with 1,975 cabinets, 72,000 sq ft of colocation and the Equinix 5G and Edge Proof of Concept Center, and a $180 million Tower 2 addition of 211,819 sq ft was permitted in 2023. UPS, generators and cooling are all N+2, a configuration none of the other seven Equinix Dallas IBXs runs in October 2026, with free cooling and a 6 kVA minimum cabinet density on 240V/415V distribution. Fifty-four networks and three exchanges, DE-CIX Dallas, DFW-IX and MegaIX Dallas, are present, and AWS Direct Connect is reached via DA2. LEED, SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001 and PCI DSS are attested; buyers take Secure Cabinet Express, private cages, Flex Space, Fabric and Internet Exchange.
