Equinix DA7
6653 Pinecrest Dr, Plano, TX, 75024, US
Equinix DA7 is a single-storey building at 6653 Pinecrest Drive in Plano, 37,910 sq ft of colocation behind a perimeter gate controlled by Stack Infrastructure security. Equinix announced it on 7 October 2015 with 300 cabinets initially and 800 more due by the second quarter of 2016, and the build was not speculative: a Fortune 100 manufacturer had taken 200 cabinets of the initial phase, with Azure reached over Equinix Cloud Exchange. Cabinets start at 6 kVA, the same floor as DA11 and above the 2 to 4 kVA minimums of the other six Equinix Dallas IBXs. UPS is N+1 with 30 hours of generator fuel at full load, and cooling is N+1 with hot and cold aisle containment. Six networks and three exchanges are present: Equinix Internet Exchange, MegaIX Dallas and NetIX. Entry is biometric with parking on the east side; buyers take Secure Cabinet Express, private cages, Fabric, Internet Access and Network Edge.
