QTS Irving DC1 & DC2
6431 Longhorn Drive, Irving, TX, 75063, US
QTS Irving DC1 and DC2 are the two data centers inside the 700,000 sq ft former semiconductor plant at 6431 Longhorn Drive that QTS bought in February 2013 and opened in October 2014, with 550,000 sq ft of building and 41 MW of critical power between them. The 1994 fab was renovated with re-run chilled-water piping and hot-aisle containment, earning LEED Gold for its first phase in 2015. Power options run from N+1 to 2N+1 off the QTS-owned substation with 2N transformers and 48 hours of fuel, and cooling is water-cooled chillers with economizers. IBM Cloud's DAL10 site operates from this address, and IBM Cloud Direct Link joins AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and Oracle on-ramps through QTS Switchboard, beside 17 networks and three exchanges. SOC 1, SOC 2, HITRUST, PCI DSS, ISO 27001 and ISO 22301 are attested here alongside ENERGY STAR. A buyer can lease cabinets, cages or 25,000 sq ft custom rooms, with office space on site.
