QTS South Dallas, filed with the state as DFW2, is a hyperscale campus taking shape along Mason Road and Sunrise Road where Wilmer meets Lancaster, 15 miles south of downtown Dallas. Six two-storey buildings have been registered with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation since DC1 went in on 10 September 2024: DC1 at 413,726 sq ft and $288 million, DC2 at 470,000 sq ft, DC3 at 560,000 sq ft, and DC5, DC6 and DC7 at 363,500 sq ft each, together 2.53 million sq ft and $1.81 billion of declared construction cost, with completion dates running from December 2025 for DC1 to December 2027 for DC7. QTS designs the campus for closed-loop cooling that takes a single water fill and to LEED standards, and has published no megawatt figure for it. Capacity here is sold by the building or the data hall, with the earliest shells first.
