Equinix SE3 at 2020 Fifth Avenue is an eight-story building beside the Westin Building, opened March 14, 2013 as expansion space for customers already deployed in SE2. The opening release sized it at about 51,000 sq ft of data center space and more than 1,000 cabinet equivalents, and the colocation floor today is 36,457 sq ft. Of the three Seattle Equinix sites, SE3 is the one with LEED among its published ratings, alongside its ISO and SOC attestations. AWS Direct Connect has been available here since May 9, 2013, and the SE2/SE3 pair is the Westin Building sub-location in the AWS table. Power runs N+1 UPS with N generator redundancy, 30 hours or more of fuel, a 4 kVA minimum per cabinet and 120/208 V distribution, with N+1 cooling, free cooling and a high-efficiency UPS plant. Secure Cabinet Express and private cages are the units here, with Fiber Connect, Metro Connect and Equinix Fabric.
