105 Cabot Street (BOS16)
105 Cabot Street, Needham, MA, 02494, US
BOS16 at 105 Cabot Street in Needham is no longer a data centre. Digital Realty sold the building to R.J. Kelly for $6.4 million and it is being converted to self-storage; its interconnection registry entry has been deleted and its page on the operator's site now redirects to a different building. It opened in June 2013 as the first purpose-built data centre in the Boston market in more than a decade — three storeys, 130,000 sq ft, around 40,000 sq ft of raised floor, 10 MW of utility power, with 2N on both the uninterruptible supply and the cooling plant. Boston requirements are now served by BOS14 at 128 First Avenue, a few minutes away in the same town.
