QTS Suwanee 1 DC1
300 Satellite Blvd, Suwanee, GA, 30024, US
QTS Suwanee 1 DC1 at 300 Satellite Boulevard NW is the 385,000 sq ft original building on the 53-acre Suwanee campus northeast of Atlanta, with 26 MW of critical power, an on-site substation and the campus's 24/7 Operations Support Center. The campus is planned past 100 MW; DC2 at 120 Satellite Boulevard was announced in January 2023 with nearly 30 MW across six halls, leaving DC1 as the building QTS bought almost twenty years earlier. Six utility feeds reach the site and eight enter this building; UPS runs N+1 or 2N, generators hold 72 hours of fuel, and a 2N chiller plant feeds 30-ton CRAHs through a water-side economizer. 11 networks and two exchanges, CIX-ATL and MegaIX Atlanta, are on site, with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and Oracle reached through QTS Switchboard, Megaport and PacketFabric. DC1 is audited for SOC 1, SOC 2, HITRUST, PCI DSS and ISO 27001. Cabinets, cages and halls come with parking and EV charging.
