COL2 sits between COL1 and COL3-S on Cologix's Scherers Court campus in Columbus, and with COL1 it hosts the 911 infrastructure for Columbus and the surrounding counties, carrying priority refueling in line with hospitals — about as direct a statement of criticality as a data center gets. Its cooling plant is the largest of the three at 700 tons in a 2N configuration on towers and chillers, fed through variable-speed 50-ton air handlers. Cabinets are supported to 64 kW. Power comes off three diverse utility entrance feeds with seven days of on-site fuel at full load, in N+1 and 2(N+1) critical configurations. More than forty-five unique networks are reachable through the Cologix-controlled meet-me room and sixteen or more fiber entrances, with Ohio IX and FD-IX Ohio present. The campus sits on the region's geographic high point, outside any floodplain.
