COL3-S is the largest building on Cologix's Scherers Court campus in Columbus and the anchor of interconnection in central Ohio: 160,000 square feet across four data halls carrying 18 MW or more. It is one of only two Cologix facilities anywhere holding an Uptime Institute Tier III certification. The award covers the building's first data hall, and uniquely in the Cologix portfolio it is a Certification of Constructed Facility, meaning Uptime inspected the plant as built rather than only the engineering drawings. The plant supports it: each hall runs 2N electrical and N+1 mechanical on four 750 kVA Mitsubishi UPS modules side-paralleled A and B, a 2 MW Caterpillar generator per side, and 72 hours of on-site fuel at full load. Cooling is 770 tons per hall. The structure carries an EF-4 tornado rating behind a K-rated campus perimeter fence.
