MTL8 is Cologix's flagship in Montréal and the largest AI-ready building it operates in Canada: 206,000 square feet and 21 MW on Rue Frederick-Banting in Technoparc Montréal, minutes from YUL airport, supporting up to 30 kW per cabinet. It became one of Canada's first colocation data centres to earn LEED Gold, certified in November 2025, and La Caisse committed CAD 240 million in senior debt in March 2026 to carry it through completion — the third time the pension manager has backed Cologix since 2021. Electrical distribution scales through N, N+1 and 2N with A+B redundant UPS; cooling is direct-expansion with free cooling on modular closed-loop refrigerant units chosen for precision and low noise. Power is over 99% renewable Hydro-Québec hydroelectricity at a published PUE below 1.3.
