DE2 is a 5,100 square foot satellite a mile from DE1, joined to it by dedicated dark fiber so customers can extend a Denver deployment across two addresses without leaving CoreSite's network. It is by a wide margin the smallest facility in the portfolio, and that is the point: it exists to give diversity and overflow to the Any2Denver ecosystem concentrated at DE1 rather than to compete with it on capacity. Fourteen networks are reachable on-net here, with Any2Denver present. Generators run N, and UPS, PDU and RPP are available in N and 2N. The building sits adjacent to Lumen's Denver gateway, and CoreSite has held it since acquiring the site in April 2012.
