EdgeConneX Denver – EDCDEN01
8535 Highfield Pkwy, Englewood, CO, 80112, US
DEN01 is EdgeConneX's original Denver building at 8535 Highfield Parkway in Englewood, a 29,800 sq ft facility whose two data halls hold 9,300 sq ft of raised floor at 3 MW in an N+1 configuration, with a further 1.5 MW under construction as of March 2026. It was among the first sites EdgeConneX put forward for Open-IX certification in the first quarter of 2014. Cabinets draw more than 20 kW and the floor is rated above 600 W per sq ft, cooled through a 30-inch underfloor plenum by N+1 CRACs housed in separate suites. This building carries an EPA ENERGY STAR certification on twelve months of verified performance, alongside SOC 2 Type 2, PCI DSS and HIPAA. Eight networks and two exchanges, including IX-Denver, meet here, and Megaport reaches AWS, Microsoft, Google and Oracle. Buyers take cabinets or a cage in the two halls, with multi-megawatt blocks next door in DEN02.
