MAD01 is EdgeConneX's Madison edge data center at 4916 East Broadway, Pod 1, a 7,800 sq ft facility opened in 2015 seven miles from downtown and within eight miles of Dane County Regional Airport. It holds 2,650 sq ft of raised floor for tenant racks, powered at 700 kW N+1 with a planned build to 1.4 MW, and takes cabinets at 20 kW and floor loads of 600 W per sq ft without ghost space. Power is concurrently maintainable at N+1 across PDUs, UPS and generators, and cooling comes from N+1 CRACs in separate suites feeding a 30-inch underfloor plenum. AT&T, Charter, Lumen, MUFN, WIN, Supranet, WhiteSky and Windstream are on net through diverse building entries into physically separate meet-me rooms, and four networks meet here. The site attests SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS and HIPAA. Buyers take single cabinets or a private suite with customer work space and secure storage on site.
