EdgeConneX Santa Clara – EDCSVC01
1600 Memorex Dr, Santa Clara, CA, 95050, US
EdgeConneX SVC01 is a 19,800 sq ft data center at 1700 Richard Avenue in Santa Clara, two miles from the city center, with 11,700 sq ft of raised floor for tenant racks. The site's power plant is 3.5 MW at N+1 across PDUs, UPS and generators, with 20 kW cabinets at 600 W per sq ft and N+1 CRACs on a 30-inch plenum. In August 2020 EdgeConneX bought the three-building block at 1600 Memorex Drive and 1688 and 1700 Richard Avenue, 229,000 sq ft in all, for $83.3 million, giving the 2015-vintage SVC01 room to grow into a campus with SVC02 beside it. Arelion, AT&T, Cogent, Comcast, Hurricane Electric, Lumen, Paxio, Silicon Valley Fiber and Zayo land in diverse meet-me rooms, Ninja-IX Bay Area peers here, and Megaport carries cloud traffic to the hyperscalers; the eight networks on site span both campus buildings. ENERGY STAR, SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001 and PCI DSS cover the building.
