Goodman Tsukuba Campus
Prefectural Road No. 213, Tsukuba, 300-3256, JP
Tsukuba Tech Central is Goodman's 45-hectare data centre campus in Tsukuba, Ibaraki, about 50 km north-east of Tokyo, on land bought from the local government in 2022. A hyperscale tenant signed a twenty-year lease for 50 MW there on 17 August 2026 without being named, and that tenant will run the capacity while Goodman develops the buildings and holds the freehold. Ready-for-service is targeted for early 2028. The campus belongs to a 1 GW Japanese development programme Goodman announced in January 2024, alongside its Inzai park in Chiba, where more than 300 MW of data centre development sits, and a Sagamihara campus in Kanagawa for which the group was appointed lead development partner in May 2026. Across its markets Goodman counts a 6.4 GW power bank in sixteen cities, 700 MW of it stabilised.
