H5 Data Centers Charlotte
10105 David Taylor Dr, Charlotte, NC, 28262, US
H5 Data Centers Charlotte at 10105 David Taylor Drive is a 207,000 sq ft mixed-use facility on a 28-acre campus in University City, which H5 bought as the David Taylor Corporate Center for $19 million in March 2014, taking the 60,000 sq ft second building as its data center address. Power is fed by Duke Energy from separate substations on diverse feeds, backed by N+1 generators and 2N AC UPS, with N+1 mechanical systems in a hot and cold row layout. More than six adjacent acres are held for a 200,000 sq ft, 20 MW ground-up building that has not started. AT&T, Conterra, Google Fiber, Lumen, Spectrum and Zayo are in the building, Lumos, MCNC and Windstream run metro fiber nearby, and cross-connects are delivered within two business days. Flexential also operates its Charlotte North site from the same address. Cabinets, cages and suites are sold here, with a Wells Fargo data center as a neighbour.
