LKK1 is the first of two Digital Realty buildings on the Lekki campus at Mopo Onibeju in the Ibeju-Lekki area east of Lagos, a compact 2,799 sq ft (260 sq m) hall with power and cooling both at N+1. Its significance is geographic rather than dimensional: the 2Africa subsea cable comes ashore at Mopo-Onibeju, the same village named in this building's own address, which puts the campus at the point where intercontinental capacity enters Nigeria rather than at the end of a backhaul from it. The landing station itself is operated by Bayobab, MTN's wholesale infrastructure arm, not by Digital Realty. The Lekki campus gained an IXPN point of presence in April 2026.
