Prometheus TX-1
6998 Farm to Market 987, Terrell, TX, 75160, US
Five hundred acres between Talty and Post Oak Bend City, in Kaufman County east of Dallas, are the ground Prometheus Hyperscale brought to market in February 2026. Four large liquid-cooled buildings are planned for up to 200 MW of utility load. Power is the reason for the siting: an agreement with ENGIE North America signed on 2 September 2025 puts the campus next to an existing ENGIE battery storage asset, and a partnership with Conduit Power announced the following day covers up to 300 MW of bridge and back-up supply at each of two initial Texas projects. Behind-the-meter generation is by Jenbacher J620 gas engines in AB Energy Ecomax 33 packages, 75 of which were ordered in November 2025 for roughly 250 MW across Texas and Wyoming. The developer's own projects page files this work as Texas co-location projects on the I-35 corridor and publishes no street address in Terrell or anywhere else.
