Opened as part of a 2011 Utah expansion, the 10,000-square-foot facility serves as the hub for Syringa's Utah operations and interconnects with dark-fiber routes extending from Provo north to the Idaho border via indefeasible-right-of-use (IRU) agreements. Functioning as both a colocation space and carrier central office, WVX supports cross-connects and transport handoffs for carriers, ISPs, and enterprise tenants, extending Syringa's Idaho backbone into the Salt Lake City market. The site broadened regional telecommunication options by adding diverse fiber capacity and colocation along the Wasatch Front, positioning it as an interconnection point between Utah and Idaho networks rather than a wholesale or managed-only offering.
