GDC – Dallas TX1 Data Center
2008 Lookout Drive, Garland, TX, 75044, US
Dallas TX1 is a two-story, 230,000 sq ft data center at 2008 Lookout Drive in Garland, opened by RagingWire with a ceremony on 18 April 2017 as the first building on what is now NTT's 42-acre campus. It carries 16 MW of critical IT load behind 34 MW of generator capacity, with three separate N+1 distributed electrical systems sharing a maintenance UPS, two utility feeds into the building and dual-corded distribution to the floor. Raised-floor halls are cooled by air-cooled DX rooftop units with indirect air economizers at N+1, and racks run up to 22 kW. AT&T, Cogent, FiberLight, Frontier, InnerCity FiberNet, Level 3, Megaport and Zayo are on net, seven networks and the MegaIX Dallas exchange meet in the building, and SOC 1 Type II, SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, ISO 50001, PCI DSS and HIPAA are attested for it. Buyers can take cabinets, cages or vaults from 1 MW to 5 MW here.
