GDC – Ashburn VA1 Data Center
44664 Guilford Drive, Ashburn, VA, 20147, US
Ashburn VA1 at 44664 Guilford Drive is the building that opened NTT's Loudoun County presence under the RagingWire name in August 2012, a 150,000 sq ft structure holding 64,723 sq ft of data floor and 12.6 MW of critical IT load in five vaults of 2.1 to 3.6 MW. Each vault runs N+2 distributed redundancy on 34.5 kV distribution, with raised-floor halls fed by a centralized chiller plant using airside and waterside economization. Cogent, Comcast, FiberLight, Level 3, Verizon and Zayo are on site through two meet-me rooms and three fiber entries, and a private fiber ring ties the building to VA2 next door and to VA3 on the 78-acre campus. SOC 1 and SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, ISO 50001, PCI DSS and HIPAA reports cover the building. Space is sold from single cabinets up to a dedicated vault.
