Ashburn VA2, 44610 Guilford Drive, opened on April 28, 2016 as the second RagingWire building in Ashburn, with 70,000 sq ft of raised-floor data space and 14 MW of critical IT load divided into seven 2 MW vaults that can be split into 1 MW private suites. Power runs N+2 distributed per vault with dual-corded A and B feeds, and generators carry 24 hours of fuel at full load. The cooling plant mirrors VA1's design: centralized industrial chillers with airside and waterside economization under a raised floor. Six Tier 1 carriers, Cogent, Comcast, FiberLight, Level 3, Verizon and Zayo, terminate in two meet-me rooms, and three networks peer in the building. SOC 1 and SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, ISO 50001, PCI DSS and HIPAA attestations are in place. The building adds 10,000 sq ft of office space for tenants deploying a cage, a suite or a full vault.
