GDC – Hillsboro HI1 Data Center
4050 NE Evergreen Road, Hillsboro, OR, 97124, US
Hillsboro HI1 is a one-story former SunPower solar-panel factory at 4050 NE Evergreen Road, holding 36 MW of critical IT load in six 6 MW vaults on 138,000 sq ft of data floor. It opened on 25 February 2021, first of five buildings planned for NTT's 47-acre, 126 MW Hillsboro campus. Two 34.5 kV feeders rated 60 MVA each supply eight 1 MW UPS modules per 6 MW vault with N+1 distributed redundancy, densities reach 22 kW per rack, and air-cooled chillers serve fan-coil walls with hot-aisle containment. Three fiber entries and two meet-me rooms reach the Hillsboro fiber ring and NTT's Subsea Connect service on the PC-1 trans-Pacific cable, with Amazon and Ziply Fiber the two networks present. It holds Cleaner Air Oregon Level 3 status, and SOC 1 and SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, ISO 50001, PCI DSS and HIPAA cover it. Buyers take cabinets, cages, suites or a 6 MW vault.
