MTL12 is the second Cologix facility inside 3000 Boulevard René-Lévesque in Verdun, a separate leased suite from MTL2 rather than a separate building. Cologix acquired it out of Cyxtera's portfolio in December 2020; before that it was Cyxtera's YUL1, and before that it came to CenturyLink as part of a fifty-seven-facility purchase in 2017. That telecom lineage is why it carries interconnection branding out of proportion to its size: 8,500 square feet and 1.6 MW, with fifteen or more networks in the meet-me room, direct Montréal Internet Exchange access and cloud gateways. Generators run in N+1 and 2N with N+1 cooling, and Cologix publishes a 99.999% availability commitment here. Physical security is unusually heavy for the footprint, including a bullet-resistant security cabin.
