MTL1 is Cologix's entry point in downtown Montréal, 5,000 square feet at 625 Boulevard René-Lévesque West in a building dating to 1972. It is the smallest facility Cologix runs in the city and it is built for reach rather than scale: around thirty networks sit in the on-site meet-me room, and Metro Connect metro fiber opens more than a hundred more at the MTL3 carrier hotel five minutes away. Power is a single utility feed behind N UPS with a 300 kW generator, and cooling runs N+1 on perimeter CRAC units rated to 80 tons. Cabinets here draw the same Hydro-Québec hydroelectricity as the rest of the campus. For a small Montréal presence that still needs carrier choice, this is the cheapest way onto the ring.
