MSP01 is EdgeConneX's Minneapolis edge data center at 6875 Shady Oak Road in Eden Prairie, a 32,738 sq ft facility 13 miles from downtown that in July 2015 was named as the home of a remote node of the Midwest Internet Cooperative Exchange, tied by diverse dark fiber to the MICE core switch in the 511 Building so regional traffic can skip Chicago. The building offers 14,935 sq ft of raised floor at 1.35 MW N+1, scalable to 2.85 MW, with cabinets fed at 20 kW and 600 W per sq ft. PDUs, UPS and generators are each held at N+1 and concurrently maintainable, with N+1 CRACs in separate suites over a 30-inch underfloor plenum. Arelion, Arvig, Charter, Cloudflare, Cogent, Comcast, Lumen, Neutral Path, WhiteSky, Windstream and Zayo are on net, and five networks meet in the building. This site attests SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS and HIPAA.
