365 Data Centers – Philadelphia (University City)
3701 Market St, Philadelphia, PA, 19104, US
The University City site is a carrier-neutral suite inside the Penn Medicine Science Center on Market Street, surrounded by the University of Pennsylvania and Drexel — a research and medical tenant base rather than the commercial one three miles east at Spring Garden. It also carries the oldest lineage in the portfolio, running from Switch and Data through Equinix, which bought that company in 2010, to 365 Main's 2012 purchase of sixteen data centres and the 2014 rebrand. Power is four 180 kW UPS modules split across two independent systems, a dedicated 1,000 kW generator with seven days of fuel, and utility from two independent substations. Cooling is a 150-ton N+1 plant with VESDA detection.
